This is a character, or an inhabitants for an idea of graphic - fear game, taking place under the ground in tunnels and caverns, the idea was to make a metaphoric world with disturbing characters with our everyday world for point of start.Related content

i like the concept. and the other one i saw in the game group, i think it was called mud rat or mouse. it was awesome though.

Yep ! Mud mouse 
For the color it's really simple, you make a layer "incrustation" under your base layer (in photoshop) and you put colors you want with airbrushing and contrast options

aha. i had seen it in a few other pictures before yours, but never really knew how it was done.
By looking at your sketches, (especially the shaman, or witch doctor or something, my memory is toilet water.... anyway, that picture is very well blended with the colors.) i'd say your art compares to whoever did the art for the unentitled KoRn album back in '07.
