Description
This piece grew from a scribble of Ryu I started while listening to energenic music. I tried to capture a moment in time, as if somebody took a snapshot during the course of the battle.In case you can't tell whats going on, Akuma performs a hurricane kick as Ryu prepares to counter with an uppercut.

I love your work, I was browsing your gallery and was just stunned! This is the style i always wanted to get but could never really could get it right, the rough edges and heavy lines. I'm looking into buying one of those bamboo drawing pads for my laptop, maybe that would help? Anyways, awesome stuff.

Gawd, your grasp of lines, of movement is oh so sexy. The whole image is BUZZING with awesomeness. And topless Ryu is always a plus. Seriously though, the way you've drawn Akuma more frantic (and by which, the broken lines in his Gi trousers) to show the Hurrican Kick is excellent.

I love everything about this! the expressions on their faces, their wind-blown clothing, and akuma's right hand. it's pretty awesome how outside influences can effect you drawing style....soooo much energy!
