I don't, I just use the original and use the normal background picker in the phone

You can do it through Minimalistic text, just put a font on your sd-card in a folder. Then let minimalistic text know where you put it!

I just hold on them and moved them away, though here I use Desktop visualizer with transparent icons in the dock!
