Omg I'm such a huge fan of Chibi vampire!!!! This is the first time of hearing about else having a brother. I knew about her sister and Fredrick. I really wish they would show Kanon and Rei more together!!!! They are so freaking adorable. They remind me of Ran and Manna so bad it hurts... ♥ Rei looks so much like James. Even shared his sense if adventure and interest in humans. I really wished the author would make a manga with Rei finding out Kanon was his long lost cousin. The author promised he would in the spring but he never did ●︿●

Well, Zonnikku, if you didn't like the bittersweet ending, you should check out my fancics that took a different road, because they were a mix of the manga, anime, and books. Since each of those universes take their own roads quite often, (manga, anime, and books,)I took my own twist. Check it out...you may like it.

That's his great great grandfather's brother. In other words, his great great grand uncle.

Really? According to Volume 14 Chapter 57 James' brother Edward died trying to save the last Psyche 1000 years ago. At least that's how Anju goes over with James' ghost.

She meant the brother of his great great grandfather. Trust me, I know what I'm talking about. I translated volumes 13 and 14 and posted them on mangafox a long time ago. XD
For one thing, vampires do not live THAT long. James would be very very old if that were the case (and 200 years ago he was looking pretty young, so he can't be older than 300 if we go by the fact he dislikes sucking blood)

Well, I scanned this page from a Japanese book I own, called "Karin airmail". It's like a bonus volume that comes after volume 14 of the manga (I don't know if Tokyopop will ever release it or not...).
Of course, it was in Japanese initially, so I just decided to translate what was on the page.
I think the author made this page mostly to give the reader a better idea of how Karin's family is structured. It's pretty neat, isn't it?
There are more pages in the book that I'm translating, so look forward to them.

I felt it was TOTALLY unnecessary... it was more like the Markers wanted to make themselves feel better than for Karin's sake, I mean, seriously, would she have cared all that much? but whatever if Yuna Kagesaki ever so wishes it, she can continue on and do something more with the series...

leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. I actually lost sleep over it. but I like to think that with the whole Sophia thing, it can leave a few possibilities. plus with an author as quirky as Kagesaki... twouldnt surprise e if we saw more Karin some time. have you checked out her latest work?
