Ah very cool, i like it alot, nice texturing and reflections, wouldn't be too hard to recreating in max I don't think...use to use max a bit, but just gave up after a while, to time consuming

Ahhhh maya aye, bloody expensive program if I remember....or at least it used to be, in the $15,000+ range, but of course, it is rather easy to find these programs on the net, but that's illegal, wouldn't ever do that *cough*

Now to do this in Maya or Max would be a good challenge... and I may challenge myself very soon...speaking of challenges, I am looking into my first project. wonna do a gun like in T2. Do you know a web page with good blueprints of weapons? Or something along those lines... u been doing this longer then me.. maybe you came across something like it...
