So that's what the HDR thing is! I gotta get me one of those! Actually, I already have the program but haven't used it yet. Hmm can you set your camera to auto bracket a three shot sequence? That's what I would do if I were shooting with the intent of doing the HDR thing. Otherwise your solution worked great. Way to go W!! This reminds me of what happens when you use a polarizing filter. Where is mine? Hmm

Hey...yes, optimally you would want to auto bracket, but single raw, or even jpeg works

I use a program called Photomatix Pro....using 3-5 of the same images taken at different exposures...check out he has links to tutorials

The process sounds like a pain. I am not a photographer and taking the same picture with three separate exposures sounds grueling.

On this one, I used 1 raw photo...duplicated it 2 times...adjusted the exposure up on one and down on the other...then HDR'd it....it only took me 5 min.
