Description
In celebration of Paper Mario 3DS coming out pretty soon and for the fact that I recently bought a used copy of The Thousand Year Door, I decided to create my own helper characters, using slightly more obscure subspecies of characters.

Goomprin (Goombeetle, 26)
A professor at the University of Goom, Goomprin is a smart and studious young man who spends late nights reading and learning, which has lead to a disheveled and sickly appearance that he hides behind a helmet. He has a strong headbonk attack and will describe the land and people around him.
NAME PUN: Goomba and Darwin, after Charles Darwin.

Tetsupin (Terrapin, 20)
A fanboy for anything robotic, Tetsupin spends most of his time and money buying mecha models, shows, and memorobilla. He still lives with his parents, and doesn't have as many friends as he should. However, his modified shell, which is reinforced with a thin layer of metal coating, can hit many items and enemies from a distance.
NAME PUN: Tetusjin, from Tetsujin 28, and Terrapin

Poltergal (Boo Guy, 12)
A shy little girl that follows more than leads. She tries to make friends, but is too nervous to know how to start. She normally hides in the shadows, hoping to find a friend that she's not afraid of. She can turn people invisible for brief moments.
NAME PUN: Poltergeist and Gal, from Shy Gal

Skeleste (Fishbone, 65)
An old and grandmotherly fish, Skeleste lives with her husband on their coral and seaweed farm, where they harvest and create healthy food and powerups. Despite their successful buisness, Skeleste wishes to see the world, and not be cooped up in her old life. She can get people across the water via riding on her back, which she says makes her old bones feel good.
NAME PUN: Skeleton and Celeste

Donna (Chuckya, 18)
A teenager with dreams of being the best ballerina, Donna spends so much time spinning around, that that's the only way she prefers to move now. She also has bomb abilities, which lets her break cracks open in objects.
NAME PUN: Primadonna

Sledge (Amazing Flyin' Hammer Bro., 16)
A wrestler for his school's team, Sledge has tons of power to go around, but lacks in speed, but can make up for it by his Turn Block platform. There's enough room for another character to hop on, but only for short distances.
NAME PUN: Sledgehammer

Piranna (Elasto-Piranha, 23)
A fashion photographer and critic for top fashion magazines in the Mushroom Kingdom, Piranna has an eye for fashion, and a slight haughtiness, but she means well. She can transport others past dangerous hazards.
NAME PUN: Piranha and Anna, from Anna Wintour
