To what extent will crocodylomorphs play a role here ,( asking because they were real diverse in the Mesozoic)?

They are much more diverse and widespread than in our timeline, but not quite as diverse as they were in the Mesozoic. Most inhabit the typical water's-edge-ambush-predator niche, but a few have specialized. Australia has a particularly diverse array of forms.

I really do like these head concepts... the biggest one, the stork-like head, interests me the most. Good luck with this project of yours.
