"Dreamers need to stick together... It's not programming, it's personal."I've been very tempted to draw Athena. She is, hands down, my favortie character from Tomorrowland. Her personality, her presence, her spunk, her combat style and especially her speach about dreamers. The film overall speaks my mind about how dreamers can impact our idiotic society's way of thinking.
I knew I wanted to draw her in her "1964 World's Fair" attire as, I'll admit, I find it incredibly cute/fashionable. It suits her so well! Of course, I knew she couldn't go the whole film in it, but I kinda wish she had. Nevertheless, I decided to go with this outfit because it reminds me of two other dreamers; Alice and Wendy, whose designs, you can probably tell, I incorperated into my way of drawing her. I also incorperated a little bit of Jane Porter's propriety in addition. This doesn't really do her justice as much as I'd like to, but I intend to revisit Athena again since she was just as much as a pleasure to draw as she was to watch.
