Jak has that deep tone to his voice, doesn't he?    It was weird hearing him speak at the beginning of Jak II.  I was like, woah!

Yeah!  Jak seemed much sweeter in Jak 1.  In fact, the whole game seemed more cute and kid-friendly.  Things got darker in the sequel, but I liked the change of pace.  

Jak II was quite the challenging game!  Overall, Jak 3 was my absolute favorite in the series.  I still argue it's the most complete game on the whole PS2 library.

I don't know!  That's a great question—why does Ratchet & Clank get a movie and not Jak.  I thought Ratchet & Clank was a great series, too, but I liked the Jak series much better.  All those cool weapons and vehicles... I could play Jak 3 every day!  

I would love to see Jak, and his faithful companion, Daxter, in a full feature film.
