Ah, that's a shame, I hate that they don't take things like that into account!
Yeah, I got a B for the coursework, but my teacher graded it before and said it was at grade A, and that this coming year I could get the A*...and yet they graded it a B, so if she'd just have said what I needed to work on, I would have done so, instead of carrying on as I was, like I was told to! Β¬_Β¬
Also, the exam side was definitely hard, we have so little time to get so much done! And I always concentrate more on my photography for it, as that's my passion (that's probably obvious ) but as that counts as so little towards the overall mark I should really focus on my traditional art more
What subject did you choose for the exam?

Well at least he did it like that, as that way you weren't expecting a particular grade in a sense?
I submitted a sketchbook and 2 boards for the exam, but thinking on it, there really wasn't much in the way of traditional art for it =\ I really need to focus on that more this year!
I know We're not offered Photography as a course, so I thought I could use it towards my Art, but it really doesn't count much at all x[
That sounds really cool I have this nerdy love of scrapbook sorta layouts, so all my sketchbook pages have a scrapbook look to them xD Also I'm a really slow worker, and my strengths lie within sketching and colouring but not really painting or pastels, so I find it difficult to fulfil the whole loads-of-different-media criteria =S
Well I chose 'hidden' for the exam, but this year we get to choose our own topic for the coursework part so I'm doing Fairytales, which is like my dream Art project What about you?

Whoah, sorry for taking such an immensely long time to reply School started and I kind of forgot about everything else >_<
Yeah, that sounds cool, I'm like the only person in my year who spends the majority of time working on the backgrounds for pages, and not the actual artwork itself xD I just like it to look good I guess!
Mmm, the thing this year is that we're being told to draw big I usually sketch things into an A4 sketchbook, which take up about a third or half of the page So drawing big is something of a challenge for me...and takes even more time! What size drawings do you usually work at?
Media would have been an awesome project, was there no way you could sort of manipulate the criteria so you could do a project focusing on it? Like find an artist who focuses on it, and go from there? How's Art going now? I went through a period of inspiration and got quite a bit done, but have emerged the other side of it, lacking the motivation to carry on right now xD

These last 2 weeks have been the busiest things ever! It was horrible O_o
I hope so xD Though it's not so much Fine Art, but hopefully there are presentation marks
Ha ha, wow! That's crazy big! I know, but it takes me long enough to draw A4 size and smaller, that's the problem xD I'm okay if I use colouring pencils though, as that's my speediest material to use, so, er, yeah
Yay That sounds really really awesome, especially the whole sticking things to famous people's faces, it sounds really different, which is never a bad thing!
Yeah, isn't this year more focused on drawing? I think ours is, it's great xD No more failed paintings for me!
I know, it's just that my main Art teacher is really, really crap, and doesn't actually tell me what I'm supposed to be doing. See, at the moment I'm focusing on Disney artwork, like the original concept art for the fairytale-based films, which is obviously not exactly high-end art, like the old masters and stuff, so she's not too keen on me doing it but doesn't say what I should be doing instead (And yes, I feel extremely fangirlish drawing Disney characters whilst the rest of my class study human anatomy etc. but it's hilarious )
