WOW!! She's alive! Yep, I'm alive. I've been SO busy with commissions and school that I hardly have time to do any personal fun stuff anymore.
I've had this sketch for about two weeks; then today I decided to grayscale and paint it.
The sketch took about five hours, and the coloring process took about four.
Total = around 9 hours

Story? YES! Storytime!
So Zorn's race evolved from dragons. Yep. That's what happened. This particular breed of dragon is called a "Septidrake" = Poison dragon. It's sort of an idea I've had on the backburner for a while now; it's tied into the Trine storyline.
I suppose if I look at it story-wise, this would be VERY close to the end of the first part of Trine.
James has to face Zorn: reverted back to his dragon state by Acerbus (what a mean fellow!) as a last resort.
The green stuff? NOT fire. It's actually a deadly poison-acid....fusion thing. It looks a lot like fire, because the picture itself is kinda rough. It took me a while, but it's still rough. I'll touch it up more later...maybe...if I have time. Blegh.

GREAT tutorials and speed paintings. A true god among men, I would say, in the Photoshop world.
