I recently found an old Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 laying around in my room, and I decided to model it.It is the most detailed model I have ever done, it should be accurate down to a half millimeter or even less.

Thank you so much, IΒ΄m sorry that I didn't get to respond before now;
I used 3D Studio Max to model it and rendered it with V-Ray, I used a real CPU I had laying around as reference.

The version which you are seeing (1024*768) is the biggest render I have at the moment

The "pins" ok there are no real pins but these little dots are looking very flat. I think it would be better to model them.

You should pick up a real Intel CPU and take a hard look at it, it is very FLAT.
Also, all those little circles are modeled and are close to the real height of them.

Well, if I just asked for a finished model, it wasn't me who made it, and therefor I would just be earning reputation for some other guys work... And that is BAD in my book.

Not for publishing of cocurse ( see by the way my article on copyright - I take that very serious ) . I just thought it would be more easy than to draw one yourself LOL. But I guess you like doing it. Question was, if you drew this thingy because you need that kind of skill in your education.
