Description
The Captain. Every unit requires some form of leadership that can accommodate in the moment of battle or in the middle of an operation. Each Captain model is controlled by an A.I. designed to carry out different tasks based on the programming and protocols that they are limited to. As such the A.I.'s only focus is on the missions and objectives provided to them. They also have programs to take command of units in an area and lead them when required. Depending on the units under their command, the captains can adapt and utilize the necessary strategies necessary. Additionally, programs for enhanced combat capabilities have been incorporated; making them more than just a glorified drone.

Hey...been a while since I submitted any kind of images to DA...like four months...but whose keeping count eh?

Just getting a bit back into (and I have Spring Break to help out on that). While looking through some stuff, I've noted that my fictional robotic army, The Red Star Army, lacked a proper commander unit. So I came up with this, the Captain. Being operated by a limited A.I., these droids serve as...well the captains of the battalions (And yes I know that I screwed up the spelling of it in the image) of Red Star machines.

I based the design off Soviet Army uniforms and decided to go with green over brown.

Some additional information:

The yellow 'buttons' you see on the Captain are actually energy cells that the Captain use to replace the ones in their guns in the event of depletion.
Failsafe Protocols are also included such as the termination of the A.I. in the event that the unit is severely damaged and when outside 'meddling' to access information occurs after the unit is damaged (but the A.I. survived).
