Looks so, abandoned.
I'm interested in shooting photos of this kind of places but in my hometown, there are none. Just old abandoned houses in the middle of the forest. Well, they are interesting too
It has kind of infrared color tones, which I like.

Is it a little too overdone though it orignially was starting to look like that and a little surreal... but in a more subtle way

I like both ways - the way you had it was more realism and now, it is more like a painting as everyone has said. I like both for different reasons.

only thing is im thinking i should crop the bottom left hand corner as its a little distracting or the cropping might lose the photo..what do you think?

Hard to tell. If you do do any cropping, don't go any higher than the highest tip of the rock on the left hand bottom corner. If you do, the "floating effect" will be lost, thus, dramatically taking away from the aswomeness of the awsome photo.
