HERE IT FINALLY IS.That huge thing I mentioned I was working on. My -probably- most ambitious piece of realism in 2013.
THE CHRISTMAS IGUANA FOR MY FATHER.
'christmas iguana' is totally a thing, shut up
..So yeah, it's the christmas present for my father. My family and I were on vacation on the US Virgin Islands last month, and these scaled darlings were... everywhere, heh. I love them; tiny dragons. And they have so grumpy faces, but they are sweethearts. My father was particularly fond of them, which is why I chose to draw one for him.
Something.. I may have regretted a few times since, heh. ALL THOSE SCALES, like srsly. I have drawn an iguana once before, all the way back in 2009 and I actually SWORE never to draw anything with so many scales again. Next to THIS one, however, my old iguana drawing seems a bit... primitive, though, heh.

My dad DID like him, though! He told me he'd be hanging it on the wall; next time I visit him I might be staring at a LIZARD in his living room.

Those scales.. were terrible to make, urgh. I probably wouldn't have finished it if it were up to myself; but I HAD to have it ready for christmas, so.. yeah. That was my motivation ^^
