Hmmmm. Okay, personal opinion here, and if I get an onslaught of people growling and yelling at me because I expressed this, I won't be nice.
I don't feel it was really deserving of a Daily Deviation. Perhaps it is 'cute', which is fine, I like the cuteness of it, and I appreciate that you have put effort into it, animation IS difficult, but...there's really not much to it, not much going for it, all that it really is is 'cute', which in my opinion does not merit for a DD even if it was not featured because of this reason.
Anyway, thats all I have to say.

I use gimp, I put one image (cupboard with the first position of the drawer, cupboard with the 2nd position, ...) per layer and I save it as a .gif file.
And you've to choose "save as an animation" or something like it n__n then you choose the time between each image.
