An IC (Inserted Character) Gilbert MacCloud IV nicknamed 'Gizmo' -- he's a young genius recruited into Spectrum as an inventor and mechanic after his father -- an engineer working on the Golden Gate Bridge -- was Mysteronized in an attempt to destroy the landmark bridge. Giz, despite his youth and lack of combat abilities displayed a great deal of valor and skill in his attempts to help Spectrum agents Captains Scarlet and Blue stop the Mysteronized version of his father.
