If you haven't, I'd read Fallout: Equestria first. If you like MLP, Fallout or just Sci Fi in general, it's an excellent piece of fan fiction. (though it is incredibly long)
Project Horizons is still ongoing but I'm enjoying it so far. (It's already longer than FoE by quite a bit, but they are both well worth the time spent reading imo) Opinions differ on how it compares to the original. It seems to depend on how you feel about the allusions to anime and various other pop culture references.
I recommend checking them out!
