Then Luigi comes to his brother's aid and revives him with a 1-up.
Mario: It's-a-me!
Luigi: Oh god. I should have just let him die. Why am I such an idiot? Wait a minute...Β
Hey Mario! Let's play a game. It's called truth or dare!
Mario: Okey dokie! Who goes first?
Luigi: First let's play twomp, paper, scissors. Whoever loses has to do a dare.
Mario: Ok. Twomp!
Luigi: You idiot! You're not supposed to tell me which one it is until I'm ready! It's no wonder you can't win at chess, poker or go-fish. Alright. I'll go first. I dare you... to hit those blocks above us!
Mario Okie Dokie: Boing!Β Ugh... Again?! I don't feel so good.
Luigi: (Pulls out his cellphone.) Uh... Peach? There's no easy way to say this but... Yeah. Mario's dead... again.
Peach: What do you mean "again"?
Luigi: I tried to revive him with a 1-up mushroom. Then I dared him to hit the blocks again.
Peach: Well... Good riddance. That wasn't Mario. At least not the one who keeps saving me. Come back to the castle. I have a gift for you.
Luigi: Is it cake?!
Peach: Yes. You clearly deserve it more than he does.

Is it really a coincidence that Mario dies, then seconds later, Dr. Mario appears? I sense that there's an imposter in our midst. Suddenly a hundred more Marios come out of the warp pipe.
Peach: What is this, a Comicon?! Get these freaks out of here! Especially the fat one! The chubby Mario takes his mask off Peach: Wario?! WTF Are you doing here? LEAVE!
Infuriated, Peach willingly turns herself over to Bowser to escape from this nightmare. Little does she know they have come to rescue her. Bowser Incinerates the "fake" Marios with his fire breath, and all is quiet until...
Moments later, a handsome Italian plumber wearing red steps out from the shadows, clapping his hands, commending Bowser's efforts.
He defeats Bowser, yet again, and rescues Peach. Finally reunited with her prince, Peach returns home to the Mushroom Kingdom, where a wedding ceremony is being held. All the Mushroom Kingdom's residents in attendance, as well as a few outsiders, such as Daisy, Luigi, Wario, and of course... Bowser. Ugh. The nerve of that guy. Meanwhile, the Toads in charge of security have Bowser, WarioΒ and the Koopalings escorted out from the audience.
Mario and Peach are now happily married, and they both lived Happily ever after.

My theory.
Luigi made a cloning machine which created several super annoying Mario clones. Mario and Peach set up fake blocks to kill the clones, so Dr. Mario is the real Mario and the dead one is a clone.

I never understood why Mario always tried to break the blocks with his head, I think that would really hurt. He should probably try to use his fist. I mean, I know sometimes he jumps like he's going to use his fist (which leads some people to mistakenly think he's using his fist, those people are dumb) but he clearly is hitting it directly with his head every fawkin time.

First, I don't know if you already knew or not, but Mario actually breaks blocks with his FIST, not his head. Second, Peach's reaction reminds me of a scene from Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon:
Hectan: "You've killed me!" (dissolves)
Zelda: (Smiling) "Good!"

Man, we all need to learn a lesson from Mario - he hits his head on bricks and poof - out comes gold! Or in this case - death. Either way there is a lesson to be learned. I imagine it has instructive diagrams or something.
