Characters:

Bloomstar was exiled from Hawthornclan after she had kits with a kittypet. But her close friend, Shywillow, defended her and rallied a group of cats to walk out on Hawthornclan. Bloomstream was elected to be the group's leader and she chose Shywillow as deputy. Before she could recieve nine lives, her group travelled around a lot and developed an outsider neutral stance. Her daughter, Wisteriapaw, was murdered by a Hawthornclan cat and showed up to give her a life later. Bloomstar and Shywillow became mates a day or two after Bloomstar got her lives.

Shywillow was the first cat to stand up for Bloomstream when Hawkstar made his decision. She found Hawthornclan's support of exile to be extreme for something like an outside affair. When the harsh clan didn't relent, she rallied a rebellious group and walked out beside Bloomstar. She has been serving as a dutiful deputy for quite a few moons now. She's been there for Bloomstar in her hardest moments and she's been an adoptive parent to the now dead Wisteriapaw and the problematic Aloepaw. She and Bloomstar became mates after Bloomstar got her lives.

Clovernose was quite horrified when Hawkstar, and by extension, Hawthornclan, decided on exile for Bloomstream. She's iffy about outsiders but exiling a queen was too far for her. So she was the first to follow Shywillow's rally, encouraging others to do so too. She helped Bloomstar kit and personally took on Wisteriapaw as her apprentice. She was devastated when Wisteriapaw was killed and often blames herself for that. She's now hoping Lichenkit will show an interest in herbs as her age is getting to her but... With Brookpaw's influence, she isn't so sure about that.

Ivysong never felt she had a place in Hawthornclan anyway. Their ruling was strict and exiling a queen was the final straw. An excuse for her to leave. So she left. And she's far preferred Bloomclan to Hawthornclan. Admittedly, she has some arcaic views about clan life but her heart is in the right place and she means only well.

Lavenderbreeze was the second to join the rally. He showed a great amount of empathy to Bloomstream when her secret was revealed, having had a past halfclan relationship that he broke off after they were nearly caught. He's been a great cat for the clan and a kind father figure to many cats despite his fairly young age.

Wildfur never fit into Hawthornclan. He was wild and rebellious, not to mention his background as a rogue kit, only taken in due to the warrior code. So when there was a chance to leave and still be a part of something, he pounced. Exiling a queen was wrong anyway. He's not a great influence and often tests the rules or get's into skirmishes with his former clanmates on the border but he does care about his new clan. He's just... Troublesome. No cat can deny his strategic mind and his utility to the clan though.

Silverpaw was found by Bloomclan while they wandered. He was raised along with Aloepaw and Wisteriapaw and is thus, very close to Aloepaw and was with Wisteriapaw. He's been a very wild and adventurous cat to raise making him contentious among the older warriors. But he has a good heart and a knack for finding new things.

Aloepaw was born after Bloomstar and her clan left. She was raised with Silverpaw along with her sister and has had Shywillow as an adoptive secondary parent. She was devastated by Wisteriapaw's death and it left her lusting for revenge. She despises Hawthornclan with a passion and often ropes Silverpaw into overstepping the border and other petty things. It doesn't help that Wildfur sometimes encourages this and when he doesn't, he doesn't stop her. She tends to be quite catty and spiteful so for that reason, is really only close to her parents and Silverpaw.

Brookpaw was a kittypet kit but he was dumped by his twolegs because he was a sickly runt. Thankfully, Bloomclan cats found and took him in. He has a need to prove himself which causes him to be very troublesome and a massive perfectionist. He's also quite empathetic, seeing himself in Lichenkit and being like an older brother to him. Unfortunately, he's not the best the influence.

Lichenkit was an abandoned kit, being a runt. Bloomclan took him in and he was nursed back to health. He was left quite traumatized from being abandoned which caused him to become submissive and polite. But another cat entered his life. An influence that would help him recover a little and bring him out of his shell. He grew very close to Brookpaw. They're like brothers and he's always by Brookpaw's side when Brookpaw is in camp.

Wisteriapaw was Bloomstar's kit. She had an interest in herbs from a young age and thus became a medicine apprentice. But while out gathering herbs, she crossed the border accidentally and was senselessly killed by a Hawthornclan patrol. She awoke in Starclan with a new purpose, however. To guide her clanmates between life and death. She's now the guide and she gave Bloomstar a life.
