This was a long time in the works. It's the poster for a fanfic I've been writing called Hourglass."In a dark, desolate future ravaged by Heartless, the only hope lies with Sora who’s been sent back in time to put things right and save the one he loves. RxS"

Notes:
-Kairi's hair is decidely shorter for a reason. In a later chapter, she engages in battle with a Heartless and her hair gets trapped under something, resulting in her having to chop off her own hair to free herself.
-On the topic of Kairi, I gave her that upper arm bracer and shorts because I figured if she's going to fight, she'll need a little extra cover that her regular outfit simply doesn't provide.
-Older Sora's outfit has been modified to reflect his battle-hardened persona. I notice that with Nomura designs, his characters' outfits reflect their personalities. Example, all silent, stoic, and serious characters wear long pants (Cloud, Squall, etc.) while immature, happy, hyper characters wear shorts (Sora, Zell, Yuffie, etc.). So after fighting a 6-year-long losing war, Older Sora is the former, thus pants. And more arm bracers for added protection.
-Keyblades! GRAH!!!
-Backgrounds! GRAAAHH!! That is supposed to be Radiant Garden.
-Go read the story! You won't be disappointed!

O.o Enjoy? I LOVE IT!!!I've sort of raced through the first thirteen chapters already and OMG how could I have missed it? It's awsome and beyond my friend. Very well written indeed and with a highly interesting storyline wich makes me just wanna' get to the conclousion of things fast and then re-read it... seriously, this is a good fic! I just read your note, and now that I think about it, I think Tidus was like a beta version of Sora somehow. I mean, they're outfits are unreasonably similar, if the FFX characters kept their normal storylines, I bet at leasnt one of them would have been made to notice.

Hmm, I never really noticed that before, but yea, their stories are somewhat similar too. They're both people dropped into a new world and forced to ally themselves with people they just met.

You know...I use to have all this stuff I liked, but never reviewed. I would read a long story to the end and then reviewed the end, but after actually writing and drawing stuff myself, I've decided to always make sure I review if I like something, beginning - middle - end. I spent all day reading your story and it truly is good. I still do want to do a fan art for your fic (actually I have a good idea of what it would look like). Hopefully I will get around to it soon. I LOVE - no - I WORSHIP your AMAZING story 'Hourglass' on FF.net. Sorry, I didn´t have time to comment on FF.net, so I searched here on DA for your picture to 'Hourglass'. All my fav charas look so ... AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL like I imagined them and Sky ... he´s AMAZING too and he looks so sad, that you want to embrace him and tell him, that all will be okay, even if it can´t. Your story made me cry and laugh with our heroes in every chapter I read. Ha, I´ve read all ´til chapter 19 and I´m sad that there will be only one more chapter. I hope that this war will end with the victory of the Light and I wonder what will happen with Sky, once the war is over? Will he get back in his own time or will he stay with Sora, Riku and Kairi? I can´t wait to read the last chapter and maybe my wish come true and you will make a sequel! Thanks for this AMAZING and 'heartstrings pulling' story and for this wonderful picture!!
