Description Even though my schedule is kind of crazy I've been taking a weekly digital painting class to improve my skills with Photoshop and try to increase my understanding of color and rendering.

Several of the classes have been useful, but tonight's was the first one where I felt like I had a real Eureka kind of breakthrough in understanding some new ways of approaching things. This pic is the result of about 1.5 - 2 hours of experimenting with some new digital painting techniques.

Wow, that's really cool. I like the dry brush feel this painting has.

His right arm (upper) seems a bit too long, and somewhat too straight. Limbs usually have a slight bend at all times. His left upper arm seems a bit too short, in relation to his right. I know that it's supposed to be bent, but that extreme of a bend would shorten the lower arm as well, whereas right now it's just as long as the right lower arm.

Other than that criticism, I'm really impressed.
