So what are the dimensions of an ACEO?
I really love how much detail you put into the fur, even though (as far as I know) ACEO cards are pretty small. I think I'm probably just going to draw you one and send it to you, 'cause I have no idea when I'm going to finish the refs. >.> I'm not really sure if I really like my characters that much anymore... I've been thinking up some new ones, but who knows when I'm actually going to sit down and draw them.

Aura and Kai. Aura is this Lucario I had, like, FOREVER ago. She was my first OC. (I don't actually have any pictures up of her, but here's one from someone else: [link] (she's the lucario) and [link] ) Kai is this golden dragon chara I had. I never really settled on a design, she was in that second picture with Aura, and I also have ONE picture of her: [link] Also, there was this sparkledog I created in a meme, on a whim...I kind of like him, but I haven't done anything with him. [link] So yeah. I just stick with Zulaya, now.

And I think your SPARKELDAWG looks okay. Just make a darker lineart, and it won't hurt your eyes so much.

Personally, I don't really understand all of the hatred for sparkledogs... I mean I understand how it isn't everybody's cup of tea, but really. It's just as silly and ridiculous as anything else.
I don't really understand the appeal of dog characters in general, though. Maybe one or two, but I feel like having a bunch of dog characters puts a cap on creativity. How much can you really do with just a dog, or a cat, or a bird, or any animal really, as a character? 
That's why I don't really feel the need to put effort into designing a sparkledog. Lol

I totally understand where you're coming from, I feel the exact same way. It's kinda like the way I feel about Twilight: I think the books are entertaining, but I don't obsess over it. I read the series twice, and I'm done. What I hate about Twilight is the fanbase. I'm okay that some people really, really love Twilight, and I'm okay that some people really, really hate Twilight, but I'm not okay with the constant clashing and bashing that happens. Can't we all just accept other people's opinions? It's not like one person is right or wrong, that's why they're called opinions and not facts, right?

Yeah, I don't know why some people can't accept that others' have their own opinions. Some people just take things WAY too seriously and WAY too personally, I suppose.
