Edit: I added a little gem to the Divine Retribution. It looks much better and natural in real life.Just for fun. I decided to use my watercolors for this one.

It's really easy. You just do your little drawing or whatever on a piece of cardstock, cut it out, get it laminated, cut it out again, punch a hole, and attach the keychain. I'm sure there are plenty of keychain tutorials out there already; however, I didn't personally use one.

did you get the keychains online or just pick them up around?

I actually had to do alot of snooping around on the internet to find both the clip and chain. They're not as easy to get as you would think. (My suggestion: EBAY)
