I did the basic shape of this fella ages ago but wasn't satisfied with the form and colours of it, so I basically started from the blocked out colour again. Really went to town on the stringy muscle, stretched, putrid skin and tendons. I think I can make it more gross though...

Sorry I took so long to respond - I don't go on DA often at all now!
Even though I'm not too keen on this pic anymore (I've learnt a lot better technique and proportions since then) I'm flattered that you want to use it for an album cover. However, I work as a freelance artist & animator, so I'd have to charge.
(or you could just pinch the image from here and do it anyway

This is beautiful.
But I agree, it can be sicker still!
I'd get some blood stains in there and use some grunge brushes to add some texture/dirtiness by Multiply or Overlay Layers. Or even find a texture image and slap it on. Then once you apply all that and merge the layers, sharpen it a bit!
Just suggestions! I'm a texture whore. haha
