Hello! Thanks for creating such a good tutorial! I am an aspiring artist and YouTuber and your tutorial was featured in one of my videos: www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZPctr…

If you like it and are a pay-it-forward type of person, I would appreciate a little help getting the word about my channel out. Anyway, keep up the great work!

This is a very difficult tutorial. I never had problems before following the tutorials instructions but with this one I really got lost in the middle

Just to clarify something: You NEED a tablet (or something that measures the pressure of the users input) in order for this to work right? I can't seem to get it to work, so I assume that's why.. You should mention that in your tutorial if that is true. Thanks

zummerfish In reply to tmarshall3d [2012-09-15 22:25:22 +0000 UTC]

You mean the brushing part? Tablet is preferable but not direly needed. What you need to do is to use different brush sizes when outlining the magical sphere. That can be done with a mouse just in a few rounds, ex. first brush around with medium-sized brush, then brush around with smaller, etc.

If you do a perspective one, could you do it of looking down at the ground and seeing the rain fall? ^^

This is real awesome ! If I may suggest an idea, one that would be real great would be a tutorial about how to make water run down bodies, like showers, or people dancing naked in the rain..

Elena-The-Evee [2011-07-17 23:56:53 +0000 UTC]

In some versions of Photoshop you can't use the pen tool. By any chance could you make the rain brushes?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

zummerfish In reply to Elena-The-Evee [2011-07-18 00:13:40 +0000 UTC]

Because it's for Photoshop Extended or at least any starting with PS7, and not PS Elements. It's even written in description -__-

Rain brushes are in great number on DA if you search. Here's one example [link]

KuraiTheWarrior [2011-07-17 22:35:19 +0000 UTC]

This is great, but I have Photoshop Elements 7, and can't make brushes. Is there any way that you could upload the brushes for people to download? Pleaaassse?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

zummerfish In reply to KuraiTheWarrior [2011-07-18 00:11:45 +0000 UTC]

This is not for Photoshop Elements -___- And rain brushes could be found on DA in a great number if you look [link]

KuraiTheWarrior In reply to zummerfish [2011-07-18 00:18:13 +0000 UTC]

I know, but I could use similar techniques, just not make the brush.

But anyways, I absolutely love all of your work
