i'll explain. one thing about karl is that he has super speed/ strength. but he runs out of energy easily. he is alive by an "unknown magical force" and that force can run out easily. when he runs out of energy, he cant fight. that is why he said "we made that same mistake again, arma". he keeps on using up his energy b4 he has enough time to completely recover. after he fought mizuno, he was planning on regaining his energy b4 he fought again. but then steffi came by the building he was walking out of. he tried to turn away (he had jst finished a battle and was running out of energy) but steffi refused and fought him. thats why he collapsed a few times.
