According to Vi's lore(canonical source) her gauntlets are made up of hextech mining equipment. Given that hextech is confirmed to be magic-based, an electromagnetic pulse would do nothing to them. Not to mention, Jinx's 'W'(Zap!) is described as "a shock blast", which isn't the slightest bit an EMP.
