Description
This was just a fun little challenge I did for myself, redrawing one of the pages from Creation Myths comics in my own style.I drew this all in pen and pencil. Never again, it took much too long XD and I hate skekSo's crown here, I wanted to make something simplistic because this is set so early on, but it just looks messy XP but I like the design I came up with for Shod, he looks sort of piratey to me XD

Gonna have to go with Kel and La on this - and mind you this are the words coming out of an Aspie. Yes, your imagining of the skeksis do look a whole lot better than the way they're presented in Creation myths. Great story-lines, but the design for the skeksis lacked the physical individualism we were told of in Henson's original works besides just their armor and accessories and leave little to the imagination. Β
You and SkekLa however bring them to life in both your drawings. Β Β

Indeed, none of the skeksis in Creation Myths were recognisable as individuals from their appearances, most notably in skekVar (he looked nothing like he did in Legends

Your version is thousands times better than the Creation Myth's one!
Your style into skeksis is complimenting and smooth, I love how you draw their beaks and legs and everything in this drawng JUST RULE

I know, possibly there will be fans who'll feel angry at me for saying that, but to be honest, I *personally* Β didn'tΒ like the design they gave the young skeksis in the original comic...YOURS do look youthful, strong and simply far beautifuller!
Much as the old descriptions of their looks by Henson and Froud ad stated, years and years ago! ^^

Haha, I don't think many of us skeksis fans liked the designs they went for in the original. The lack of hair, the ancientness, the dead-looking eyes, it just didn't add up for the skeksis when they were still so young. This was just for fun though, haha, I was curious to see what it would look like if I redrew a page. ^^
