Description Tried drawing some urskeks expressing darker emotions that are forbidden to them. Urskeks are hard to draw :/ They're worse that gelflings because they are even more human looking (with their flat faces and pronounced noses) but still not quite human. I tried to focus on giving them small chins, large noses, pronounced foreheads and big eyes, though still not perfect I think they are still recognisable XD

Yeah, this is a continuation of my experimentation using traditional art materials, it was fun but I think I will stick with digital moreover from now on. It would have been cool if I could have drawn the urskeks as lighter than the background, but on paper that would have taken forever (and eaten up a lot of the ink from my precious marker pens). Feel free to guess which urskek is which, though it'll probably be very hard (the only hint is I've made them somewhat resemble their skeksis selves), I would be amazed if anyone got them all right.

Impressive work. Weren't the Urskeks exiled from their home planet because of having those dark emotions? Also, at the end of the movie, did the Uru half (light) transmute the Skeksis half (dark) into even more light when they combined together into a whole?

Thank you Yeah, that was the idea I was thinking of here, expressing some of those darker emotions that got the urskeks exiled from their own homeworld, normally we see the urskeks as having such passive emotional states until the very dramatic point in which SilSol freaked out in Creation Myths, that was my main inspiration for this drawing

I have to agree UrSkeks can be hard to draw and your pulled it off wonderfully ( I always thought their faces reminded me a little of the Easter Island heads) they are truly alien and yeah there is barely any UrSkek art out there.

Thank you, charms ^_^ I'm happy you like them! I hadn't noticed the similarity before, but you're right Urskeks are rather reminisicent of those statue heads. Yeah, there should be more urskek art, these guys aren't appreciated enough

Noticed the challenge you issued Rose! maybe I should try Durnazshar!
 i admit I didn't try to hard to recognise them, but yeah the angry one on the left could only be UngIm (NOT a passive healer! and probably just a little bit arrogant) the only one I really recognised is SilSol I admit but now that you mentioned it, I can now see the ones you named in the others.

Hehe, it was hard to translate the skeksisness into urskeks, they normally look so passive and kind, hence the title: darkness. UngIm was more recognisable as being part skekUng before because he had a tiny bit of facial hair (but I removed it because I wasn't sure if it was urskek-ish enough ^^u). Thank you, Charms

OH MY OH MY OH MY...I love these .O.O....
There needs to be more urskek art out there, indeed, and these look abslutely fabulous---one can literlly SEE the darkness in different forms, taking over them...poor things.
I believe I can indeed tell THREE apart, or so I think.
Do telll are any of these, by chance, SilSol, UngIm *or is the one I see as UngIm actually SoSu??* , ZokZah and EktUtt?...I might be wrong--but I think I do spot them--- I still doubt about soe details tho and I'm unsure about the other two there are at the image ^^...I LOVE THIS.

And you got those three you guessed right! (indeed, that is UngIm [he had tufts of hair on his cheeks before but I removed them, they would had been more of a give away XD - I did realise he could have easily been SoSu after looking at him though], ZokZah and EktUtt ^^). The remaining two are SoSu and OkAc

YEYSSSS!!!!!!!!!! Hahaha that is knowing these guys too much! XD *As much as to know which urskek you made to represent each tho the urskeks tend to have that uniform quality (which you captured perfectly) which makes them nearly undistinguishable!!! XD--

Indeed...such rage could only belong to UgIm at a bad moment ...The PRIDE, ZokZah, definitely. The "I'm SO CUTE--" EktUtt...and of course the "I CAN'T STAND THIS", SilSol. 
So the others are SoSu and OkAc!---OkAc is small, thin-nosed and pensive---SoSu looks dettached, gives his back to us (and his kin, imagining he failed at everything) poor thing.
I JUST ADORE this drawing-!!!!
