I-I just had to x3 I'd made other fanart of Ellie (which you can see here [link] but it didn't really deserve to be put it up. So this is my second attempt which is much better in my opinion ^^ It's also my first attempt at drawing freckles, but all I did was splatter dots across her face xD Hope you like this! <3------
Used: Paint Tool Sai and Paint.Net
Time: 4-5 Hrs.

Once I have the flat colors down, I draw lines over them with a darker tone. I do that about three times, darkening the color I use every time. And then I use the base color to draw more lines over everything else xD And then on a luminosity layer, I airbrush some highlights on. Then with a thinner sized brush I make more lines over the airbrushed/highlighted section to make it look more detailed. If the entire picture takes me 4 hours, then the hair takes me about 3 xD
