NEW SIGNATURE! well technically a watermark type signature using my logo.
This year's personal overall theme is experiment, meaning, i'm going to try different styles.
Unrequited, not requited : not reciprocated or returned in kind (mostly associated with unrequited love)
I'm not sure what I did with this prompt. It's part unrequited, unspoken love, and part grandbabies.
I didn't want to do the literal Zuko/Katara once had feelings but the other person never returned them.
So i guess (as an excuse to draw the grandkids & grandpa!zuko & grandma!katara), here's my thinking for this piece:
- zuko and katara both went on their own ways.
- they might've had feelings, at least the feelings of deep friendship and trust
- somewhere down the line they had want they wanted but something was missing?
- only their grandbabies kept them going and they love them very much
- the grandkids (mostly katara's grandkids) are michievious, notice that connection zuko&katara has
- jinora blames her books and ships them together.
