I wanted to do one more dragon in a technique I did this one [link] Now I think of doing a series of dragons made in this way

Kodėl gi būtinai ne apie Lietuvos? Lietuvoj irgi visko būna ir medžiai toli gražu ne vien juodi. Miškų saplvų paletė yra labai plati.

Bet ar buna aukso spalvos medziu? cia jau labiau sausa zole ar net nzn ir tokios zoles retai miske buna. Ir toje zoleje jis pats matytusi

whoa, this turned out pretty cool
somewhat oriental-medieval looking, not sure how to explain that.
but you did an awesome job with the scales pattern! seriously, there are a ton of different scale shapes there. And I like how the horns look almost made out of wood. it adds to the whole forest camouflage look.
also the smirk XD
a series, eh? well, the last one was blue and feathery (air), this one is green/wooden (earth)... some kind of elemental dragon series?

I haven't strictly decided upon the main idea of the series yet. I was intending to do purple, red for sure (almost rainbow dragons, lol). The elemental series sounds great, however I don't think this one's and the blue one's concept represents their element powerfully enough. Nevertheless I think it would be interesting to keep up with elements idea as a base of their concept ( I could draw a dragon with gills

rainbow sounds cool, though you can always think of special ecosystems for each dragon
the gills one could be a strange blend of dark blue and purple, or maybe even the red one and be an deep sea dragon. just as a lot of deep sea fishes are dark red in color!

I was thinking of variations of purple with a hint of red here and there. I've sketched him already and I think it would fit him. While I was sketching him I Googled for water dinosaurs and other ancient and present creatures of sea. Some of them were surely striking. The ocean is such a rich place

... also a really creepy place. Just think of all those MILLIONS OF TONS OF WATER who are never touched by sunlight and house animals so weird they almost appear to be alien. it's amazing.

Yeah, I've seen real pictures and videos of sea creatures which ancient habitats could have easily called a dragon of some kind
I'll try to do my best although I don't believe my concept will be quite that amazing.
