Don't mind me, this is just me desperately trying to cope with the fact that my favorite character (or, well, second favorite, if you want to get technical) died in an absolutely miserable way on Hunter X Hunter.
And yeah, okay, it's been a while since the episode came out, but I just watched it today, and it hurts like a mofo. So this is how I pay tribute to my favorite characters, who die. Which is... practically all of them.
Plus, I just really wanted to draw Kite's hair, okay? Look at it, it's so long and gorgeous. Dammit, I want hair like that.
I have a feeling this is going to be like Death Note and Project K all over again. I'm probably never really going to get over Kite's death. And knowing this anime, it is never going to give my heart or my feels a break.
Guess that just gives me an excuse to keep drawing him, huh?

He does, doesn't he? I just want to run my fingers through it. I have a huge weakness for long, silver/white hair on guys~
And oh my god, the paaain. I never thought I'd get so attached to him, but I did. He was so badass, and such a good character, with so much potential, and I feel like he needn't have died. It was almost as though they made him out to be really strong, and then killed him, just to show that Neferpitou was so much stronger. I feel like THAT was the only reason they ended up killing him...
...Sorry for rambling. I'm clearly not over this xD

I'm right there with you! I remember thinking that Togashi was going to write Kite out because he represents a surrogate father figure to Gon, and if Gon's quest to find Ging is going to continue, Kite couldn't stick around D: I'm sure we haven't seen the last of him, though! We still need to find out what the remaining Crazy Slots abilities are, and Togashi isn't the kind of author to leave us hanging.
