After about 100 working hours, the bowblade is finally finished. Actually made for sale, but now I need it for my serah cosplay (which I haven`t planned to cosplay, but I wanted to have a costume until connichi, so I have bought the serah cosplay) I donΒ΄t wanted to make the starseeker, because I like the colours of the rune feather more XDThis prop was made from 249 single parts; 202 of it are selfmade and were put together to 23 main parts. The remaining 47 parts are screws, pegs, strings, etc.

The Rune Feather was one of my favorite versions of her Bowblades because of its colors and look. ^^ It is obvious to anyone you took a lot of time to make it.

It really is a nice, hefty piece of role play goodness. I can't imagine restringing that thing between transformations as being fun though.

but sorry, I don't make comissions because I'm too busy with studiying and my own cosplays... maybe I will make comissions in the far future when I have time, a better workspace and my interests haven't changed, (but don't wait until this; It would take at least 2-3 years, if I were to accept comissions ^^" )

vielen dank ^^ besteht aus einen Styrodurkern Β (also etwas stabiler als Styropor und brΓΆselt nicht so) , hab dafΓΌr aber auch nur die Bezeichnung von PS gelesen^^ (kann scheinbar beides sein XD)

thank you^^ yes, I have seen yours and I must say you have the most awesome bowblade I have seen so far^^ IΒ΄ve seen an artwork of serah a long time ago, and at this moment I thougt I have to make the bow tensioned, if I would make it some time^^ And not much time after, I saw somebody had already made it (before I havenΒ΄t seen anyone else) and yours turned out so great!! As I have seen it for a short moment in real (on Connichi 2012) I have though you bought it, but then I have recognized that is SyrupCookie^^ (If I wasn't so far away from you, I would have adressed you^^)

Many people tended to think I bought my bowblade (so many people came with the same question x'D), but it's always nice to say that you've made something that's seemingly difficult to make. Especially this weapon since it's pretty complicated. Next to how it looks, also the mechanism itself we're at first difficult to figure out
One of the reasons I'm always happy to see other cosplayers attempting the make of this weapon and making it a beautiful one at that~

I know what you mean with the complicated transformation XD The biggest problems I have with my gunblade XD Β I have thought the bowblade transformation will be easier to make, but my mistake was that I cut the materials out without any thought how I manage the transformation (I have thought that will work somehow XD) after finishing the parts I have regocnized that the blades have to be rounded at the transformation angle, because the blades blocked the rotation XDD I havenΒ΄t rounded them (because I was too silly for that XD) and have found another solution. But when the blades rotated, there was Β the next problem (the gap between the blades in Sword-mode XD)Β
In my opinion it seems easier than it actually is O__oΒ
Really sad that you won`t come to connichi this year... do you plan to come next year?

Since I haven't been able to come to any German cons this year, I'm hoping to go next year. I really liked Connichi last year and I would love to go again. So, I might come with some friends of mine next year ^__~
