Description
Varna lived in a small village on Northern Continent until slavers arrived. All Matoran were captured, including Varna. Only luck of fate saved her from mines and factories of Xia. Instead, she was assigned to work as a servant in the court of Sayaarla, sovereign of Slave Empire. However, it came to light that she was an Av-Matoran. Sayaarla immediately took her under protection and eliminated anyone who knew about the true identity of Varna. From now on, Varna lived a suite life without any worries.

But it couldn't last forever. Danrel, Toa of Fire at the behest of Artakha was to kidnap the Av-Matoran and bring her to Daxia. He was hiding under cover of royal guard for years, gained Varna's trust, just to use it and betray her. But the conspiracy has been exposed. Danrel was able to kidnap Varna, but couldn't contact Botar who was supposed to teleport them from Stelt. He made a decision to try and reach Daxia without help of Order of Mata Nui.

Other guards were desperate after both Danrel and Varna disappeared. They made a deal with Dark Hunters - Carnifex was sent to kill the Toa and bring Varna back. Dark Hunter pursued them for many days, leaving a bloody trail behind. Danrel knew he could not escape, not if Carnifex was after him. He faced Dark Hunter, but he could not overcome the raw rage of the mutated Skakdi. But there was third side of the conflict. Mysterious person hired Ksarel to stop both Danrel and Carnifex from kidnapping Varna. The mercenary waited for the outcome of the duel of the two and stroke right after it. Defeating heavily wounded Dark Hunter was a piece of cake, capturing Varna was even easier. Ksarel found out that she was an Av-Matoran and instead of giving her up, he killed his paymaster. He made Varna an offer. He either sets her free and lets her go her way, or trains her and helps to become a strong, free person. She chose to stay with the mercenary.

Throwback Thursday, right? I built Varna 2 years ago(now the MOC is disassembled) but never before felt like uploading photos. Until recently. I thought I should do it, just to give something more of my FF ideas etc. Also you can expect few updates of my older MOCs.
