Description
Duncan Voltz my beloved...
I was practicing using vector layers on an old sketch I did. It was supposed to be part of a comic, but I donno if I will ever finish that. WE'LL SEE...
On vector layers: What did we learn?
- It's kind of a pain to edit hand-drawn lines.
- What happens when you want to erase? It's not always the best at that, but it's easy to fix if anything turns out weird. Now that I think about it, there might be a setting I'm neglecting that may make it work better.
- How would you color over the lines with a new color? (Maybe a clipping layer would work.) You can change the color of vector lines very easily, but what if you want a two-tone line? Also, is there a faster way to change the color of vector lines on multiple layers?
- Redoing line weight is actually a pretty neat feature, though it doesn't always work like I want it to.
- Cleaning up and coloring in is pretty easy.
I'm not sure how much more I will use vector layers, but I think it's cool to finally learn about. I've heard they are very useful for animation.
As for Duncan here, yes he is allowed to wear fun shirts, AND he is required to wear pink at least sometimes. It's just the rules.
