Description A new character - a tiefling barbarian fighter straight from pitfighting in Thay.

She's got a charisma of 6, so her sword has more 'personality'.

After your comments on my 'Lady Samurai' drawing, I had to come back and comment on this one. LOVE the detail, and how functional the armor is. My biggest problem with most armor designs nowadays is that they're designed to 'look good' first, and possibly protect second (if at all... looking RIGHT at you, chainmail bikinis!) This actually looks like ARMOR. Amazing job, on both the line art and the coloring/texture.

Thanks. After I got a set of full-plate mail, I redrew her in heavier stuff and colored it in B&W. That would be Baetor in Full Plate. I try to make armor be armor. Red Sonya's outfit looks hot, but would offer no protection worth talking about.

Absolutely. That's the kind of thing I'm talking about, making the armor look like it can actually take a hit. And I love the B&W Baetor, as well, even more intricate and powerful-looking than the color one.

Glad somebody likes it. That was my foray into digital coloring. I did it in grayscale in Paintshop Pro 7. I had redrawn her so soon after my mate had finished coloring the first one that I didn't dare ask her to color that one.

Unfortunately, our party was pretty much killed by a pair of frost giants that the DM mistakenly thought we could handle, so that character is now inactive. I'm running D20 Future as a result. The Diud'chi Jedi illustration is my mate's character. I'm doing a light saber duel pic that I hope to have done in a few.

That's pretty nice. I would have thought it was Prismacolor markers (something I'm a fan of, personally). Good work with PSP there!

Ah, yes. The vagaries of PC death... and I'm looking forward to the lightsaber duel pic. I'm a HUGE Star Wars geek!

We'll have to ask Baetor what pirate she killed to get those knee guards.

Excellent picture!

Yep, we will. He probably looked at her sideways and said something about her
heritage.

She's a nasty babe, chaotic neutral all the way.

We game with Syreene (another Deviant artist) every Monday night. We go back and forth in illustrating each other's
characters. I have yet to finish my new character, Dagmar, he's a rogue/bard.
