Nice work, as usual! The detail reminds me of a WWII bomber, and the textures (as always) are nice and crisp, especially the deck plating, the fur, and the outer layer of clothing.

That was the look Greg was going for as they are at that technical level. He told me the clothing is not as gaudy as what the males would wear, but I figure it still would be something as detailed. It's suppose to be dull and bland, but I figure it still should look interesting.
I've got two more full color ones to do for the book. Greg just scanned the first one in, so that's today's project.

Diane's brushes were can I find those like the pattern and it can help with fur patterns for my 3d characters.

I found Diane's brushes here on Deviant art in the download section. As to the other patterns I use, years ago I bought a book which included a CD of all sorts of textures. The book is called Character Design and Painting. It's probably one of the best to get one's feet wet as to composition in Photoshop. There are literally hundreds of brushes from patterns, tile shapes, skin and so on.
You can also easily make brushes in Photoshop as well (check out "You suck at Photoshop" on the web). Make a shape that you wish to base a brush upon and copy it. Then go into Edit and Define Brush.
