Description
Most of you have probably seen this type of image either of canon characters or OCs. I thought it would be a nice concept to use to have a go at seeing how colours and pencil strokes affect a drawing.So we have neat and bright on the left and dull and sketchy on the right.
Also I redesigned my signature.

Very nice, though I feel the blueish black on the evil side could have either been smudged in more or could have been lighter, but that's just me. Still an excellent work!

Oops! Sorry I didn't state it. I mean in the mane. It just doesn't sit right with me. Probably because the character has so many warm colors in it the blue sticks out a bit.

Yeah, I can see what you mean on the fringe part. Zinc has kind of a separate quiff in front of the main mane, that's what I was trying to do.
I was toying with the idea that Zinc's mane changes warmth depending on his mood. So when he's excited/happy his mane is more yellow and orange, and turns to cooler violets/purples/blues when he's sad or angry.
