This Fire Dragon was recently finished as a commission for a friend, buying it as a birthday gift for his girlfriend.
Twas great fun working on it, and as usual, the universe seemed to be grouping subjects together in my life while working on a commission - the theme this time is dragons - I am/was working on 2 dragon related commissions, I was teaching a chapter of art history that included a lot of dragons (Early Medieval Art in Europe) and I was finally able to start watching Game of Thrones season 3, which happens to include... you guessed it... dragons.
