so I was talking with my sister about the paladins’ awkward phases and came to the conclusion that shiro had the most embarassing awkward stage of all
he was a bigger emo than keith, had horrible hair, and didn’t know how to wing his eyeliner for shit
definitely wore turtlenecks even during the summer and dyed his front lock fluorescent purple
keith was mostly just a geek and actually kinda pulled it off but one year he dyed his bangs and it was godawful
(he wears glasses just for the aesthetic)

Keith definitely tries to after he's gotten over his initial shock and momentary flustered-ness, but Lance has no shame and starts singing it even more loudly and dramatically while getting all up in Keith's face
Keith does not try to enter Lance's room again for a while
