Eros(Cupid? Qupid?) and Psyche,It's one of my favorite stories of Greek Myth.
I reread the book of Thomas Bullfinchi and wanted to draw them.

I like the name ‘Eros’ better, the Roman names don’t maintain the softness and majesty of the Greek name.

awww~ this looks so cute and sweet. I love your version of them. I really do..but something confused me, why is Psyche's wings that of a butterfly....was her wings really a butterflies wings?

I read a writing about Greek myth that says Psyche was often compared to butterfly because of her revival. It was impressing and I love wings of blue butterfly so I drew blue wings of butterfly on her back.

He's a great poet; definitely one of my favourites. He also touches on the Psyche myth in "I stood tip-toe on a little hill," but that part is not as lengthy as his ode to her. I'm glad you read it, though!

Yes, I love this story, since my childhood, how Psyche discovered her husband on the light of a hidden candle, and the tests she had to do to join him again, and the Zephir wind which carried her and crashed her bad sisters... It is a beautiful story and the origin of many European fairytales.

I love those parts of the story too.. 
I love how Eros helps Psyche's test while they were parted.
The whole story touches my heart everytime I read it.
