Fan art for Anne Rice's book series revolving around this guy here - Lestat the Lioncourt.Even if you haven't red the book(which is good, in spite being a book about vampires) you for sure you have seen "interview with vampire" with Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt.
Lestat - was born in France before the Revolution, as a poor noble.
Work inspired by XVIIIth century miniature portraits.
uhhh I'm kind of proud of the colours^^

Wow, this is really nice! I like the way the blood on the lace cravat sneaked up on me! It looks like a miniature, like something a lover would carry. How big is it? And yes, you're right to be proud of the colours.

This work was inspired by miniature portraits, which are about 5-8 cm high.They actually have round golden frames, and looks more like pocket watches.
The work itself isn't big either(15/17cm) but i've made it using Photoshop and Sai so it really doesn't matter.
