I didn't know that. That's a pretty cool bit of Metroid lore. I confess that I am not really up on my Metroid knowledge. I love Metroid of course, but mostly the older ones. I didn't play much of Prime or any of the Prime sequels.

Kinda funny though. That both Samus and the Chief both have armor with a history of breaking people who were unprepared to use it. If memory serves, the original MJOLNIR armor was used with regular soldiers and it was so powerful it liquidized their skeletel structures. At least I think that was a thing. It's been years since I read Fall of Reach.

Actually, it reamins unknown as to how the Morph Ball works. In 2D Metroid games, she simply curls up (reinforced by SM), which made me believe the shoulder pads expanded and became hollow in order to hold her inside, safe. But, in 3D ones, she seems to be "compressed into energy" as she enters Morph Ball.

As for the power suit, it might be only compatible to Chozo blood. I know not of what would happen, should a non-Chozo wear it.

Yeah, when metroid prime came out, Sakamoto, the guy in charge of all that is Metroid at nintendo, outright told his Representatives going to Retro Studios that they have free game when it comes to designing the game, save for the ONE mentioned exception, that they were not allowed to attempt to explain the morphball (though I get the impression it was a joke, as not even he knows how it works, and he pretty well co-created Samus)

as for someone else wearing a Chozo armor, dunno if it absolutely requires Chozo blood, however once the armor has an owner, it cannot be used by another. it's organic componets are attuned to Samus' nervous system only. the power suit is pretty well literal living extension of Samus.

I assume you're talking about Monty Oum's "Haloid"? That was one of the first videos that really showed off Spartans the way they were described in the books. Unstoppably badass and effortlessly lethal. I loved that vid. Still look it up from time to time.

Of course now that Monty works for the RvB guys we can all see his stuff in Season 9, but Haloid still stands out.

Yeah, he went to work with them during the 8th season. His visual fingerprints are all over the Season 8 episode titled "This one goes to 11", which oddly enough is actually the 10th episode if memory serves.

After that was successful, they brought him in for season 9 to help with the Freelancer segments which run in tandem with the more standard "Blood Gulch" segments. You may or may not know all this already, I don't know. Please know that I only wish to inform, not to condescend.

I'm sure that like all the RvB folk he'll have a profile on the RoosterTeeth site. Hit him up, he may have some tips for you or something.
