no manipluation!continuing in the 'mind's eye' series of car pix. this is etherboy's honda prelude 2.2 vtec with cool four wheel steering.
no homemade brackets this time, just a manfrotto 241v vacuum camera mount and an emptry car park. canon g5, 8sec, manfrotto 241v, honda prelude 2.2 vtec

hehehe, very nice, i like the shoot a lot, but you should try to make it in a tunel or in a city with nice buildings or skyscrapers

i'll have to try it sometime - i'm just a little concerned about using the mount at high speed and in built up areas!

This looks great - the only thing I could suggest to improve upon this is to clean and chamois the panels closest to the camera just that little bit more. Perhaps make use of one of those spray on quick shine glassy waxes. Car photography is a damn tricky thing to capture that pro look - it's basically shooting at a series of big warped mirrors.
I'm dead jealous of your Manifrotto suction mount. it'd freak me out to use anything other than a bolt on attachment but I've never seen the suction mounts ability to really hold fast yet.

thanx, and yeah, damn water marks! you couldn't see them directly with the naked eye. they only showed up from a specific angle. car photography's 90% prep and i didn't have the time to give the car as good a going over as i would have liked.
btw, i've had a car up to 40 mph with my 10d SLR and an L series lens attached to it. that was a bit scarey to begin with, but the manfrotto attaches very well.

you mentioned it was 220Volt, so you have to run an inverter in the car to boost the electric output. Would hate the cigarette lighter plug to fall out!
