Hahaha! I'm sorry. My tumblr isn't that interesting yet, but I have high hopes for it. Not really. Mostly it's Harry Potter nonsense (as much of tumblr is). I'm... actually not quite sure what tumblr is for. Maybe I should put up some writing? Do people do that? /clueless.

I didn't know whether I was going to attempt nanowrimo again this year,(last years creation, while over 50,000 words in length, is truly something never to be seen in the light of day) but after reading your EPIC scenes I was inspired to try again. Thanks and happy writing

Haha! I felt precisely the same way about most of the stuff I did for NaNo. But it was more the idea that was worthwhile than the text itself.

But--you know, it's really wonderful that Epic, or indeed anything of mine, has inspired you to go try something that you were unsure about. I think one of the loveliest things about writing is the way it inspires--so I'm beyond delighted to hear that you've experienced this from my writing!

I was reading the synopsis for your Nano. It sounds really interesting. I hope you will post excerpts up on DA when it's finished.
I'm really happy I decided to write again this year. As much fun as it was last year trying it for the first time, being completely unprepared, it is even more fun this time around. My word count just seems to keep climbing without me staring blankly at the computer screen praying for inspiration(knock on wood. We are about to head into the second week)

I'm really, honestly thrilled that you say this. Writing should inspire other people, and it's a huge honor that you say mine inspires you!

I hope I won't stop writing either--and I don't think I will. By this point, writing isn't just a thing I do anymore. It's a thing I am. /cheesy

Write. Don't stop writing. Keep reading, keep meeting people and making friends, keep doing interesting things--and learn from those, and write about them. Always write. That's the only thing we've got to do.

AP Calc's the worst! I've got AP Physics this year and it's nearly as bad.

I'm afraid that I'm barely functional in my own life as it is, haha. But, if you've got a (shortish) piece or two that you'd like me to look at, I'd be happy to do so. You'll have to be patient with me, though! I'm slow these days.

I know ~AndThenYou directed you to me, and while I'm glad that you found her recommendation worth acting on, I'm afraid I can't commit to reviewing a long project, like yours is.

I'm usually happy to comment, since I believe giving critique is a huge part of the literature community here, but I've been horribly busy, and going through a bit of a rough patch, and just basically not having any time at all. I wouldn't want to agree to review your book and then not be able to follow through.

I wish you the best of luck with it, though. And if you're looking for critique, might I point you, instead of to individual writers, to literary clubs like #RawEm0tion , ~The-Literati , or #The-Novelist-Club ? I'm not quite sure if any of those are right for you, as I've been gone long enough to forget which club does what, but have a look at those.

aus, there is no doubt in my mind that you have done amazing things with your life. that trip to guatemala? that seems like something pretty important and college-y! and come on - you've written two novels. not just anyone can claim that as part of their resume. the bottom line is, aus, that you are a deep, soulful individual and any college would be lucky to have you. and no matter what your grades are, you are going to blow them out of the water with your essay (which everyone says is the most important part)!

I would love to know where you are applying! but at the same time, I don't want to talk about anything that will cause you more stress. feel better again, and I miss you. <3
