Hi! (a month later!) How's grad school treating you? I have to start getting all my stuff in order so I can apply and the idea is terrifying.
I'm ok, and college is rough, but I'm almost done and I'm doing alright so far! I am writing a little bit and I've started getting some new ideas and the desire to write more after a long dry spell, so that's nice--although writing is best treated as a job and I know I should be more disciplined about it.

Have you heard of the animated movie called Epic that's coming out in May? As a big fan of YOUR Epic story (which I obviously read first), when I saw the trailer for the movie, it kind of reminded me of your story so I was wondering if you had seen it.

I'm so glad to see that you're still posting. I can't wait to continue enjoying your posts about Epic, or any other tidbits of writing you feel like posting. I'm certainly eager to learn more about it and its wonderful characters. Also, I noticed that your most recent post mentioned your desire to self-publish. That's actually one of the publishing possibilities I'm looking into as well. Maybe we could talk about that sometime.

Hi! I'm glad I'm still posting also! I'm in a creative writing workshop this semester and it's like DEATH ugh it's so hard. But hopefully I'll get to writing more because of it.

Hi! It's so nice to see that there's still interest in Epic! Thank you, that is kinda heart-warming.
Epic is my baby. I love it, and I love the characters in it. That said, it's nowhere near being complete, and I'm still kind of chipping away at it. I'm also pretty busy now with school, so work is slow. But I do hope to get it finished into a real, complete novel-length story.
Once that happens, I'm going to self-publish it. I know that self-publishing gets a bad rap, but I think it can be done elegantly, and anyways I'm not interested in querying it for traditional publication--it's not the sort of story that needs or deserves to be queried, haha! It's just for fun.
It'll probably be a while, but I will definitely let you know when it's finished!
