I'm 22 years old grew up with it, my brothers are in their 30's they also grew up with it, I have the old toys and watched the cartoons.

First time I heard Peter Cullen's voice as Optimus in years after he retired it sent shivers down my spine. I had a nerd moment like no other. Me and a couple of people in the theater actually screamed that "NERD MOMENT! Sci-fi senses are tingleing OPTIMUS PRIME!" It was awsome. . . .

I was there at Dreamworks when I found out they were making the first film, I seen the test run for the Autobots and seen the the cast for the voices when I seen it was all the orginals I was soo giddy, I was not prepared though for hearing Cullens voice

he always said he based Optimus Prime off of his Big brother (who was an American Marine) ((Cullen Himself is Canadian)) even the way Optimus Talks he says echoes his Big brother. (Cute right?)

I hate Math I'm a visual person (Brother is math genius so is my little sister, I'm just a computer genius, Like Dutch the German NSA hacker) I get along with technology 99.9% of the time but I'm alot like Sam when it comes to the Lost generation nobody really cares about your true potential or even wants to give you a chance, I'm an artist. . .with problems I'm smart though when it come to Military/History and all that good stuff

like in the film did you know all the soldiers you see as extras are real US soldiers, also those crazy ass moves they do they actually do in real life, like jumping off buildings, freefalling with flight suits into combat zones. XD pretty neat

Tbh, its only certain things that I would work through fast or it depends if im bothered or not xD
Im more into doodling then proper drawing as when I try proper drawing it comes out terrible and also I kinda must be in a mood :I
Tell you a story that happened a few weeks back, there's this triangly ruler thingy that has a triangle hole in the middle of it and because I kinda got bored when sir was talking, I got that thingy and outlined the middle triangle and shaded it in. Then, I just drew the outline and checkerd-coloured it and then I did a two-line checkerd line along the edge of my page. BUT! I had to hand in my book for homework checking. The next day I got my book back and so I flicked through to my homework page to check it and then I flicked the page to where my triangles were on.
There was an arrow pointing to the triangles with a note saying ''When did you have time to do this?'' xDD I was like ''ermm...8D'' trololol~
I still laugh about it xDD

Well Cullens Big Brother was American, he was buried at Arlington National Cemetary. Cullen remember his brother going off to War the next time he seen him he had become what no one really understand about Americans, when he realized later on he admired his brother for making the hard choices when he could not. Talking to his brother was always humbleing. Every time he came to the states to visit him he always got that sense he was a hero, a humble hero that American Soldiers more often then not are raised to be, his brother was no exception, his smooth base american accent well thought out strong, wise, but also gentle even for a man who had killed before. His brother was never the same but in many ways it made Peter Cullen a better man and the reason behind Optimus Prime. Brother the American Marine the Soldier his Hero.

When his brother passed away you could say Optimus is the way he knows his brother is still alive and every American soldier involved in the film is vision to the soul of what his Brother always represented.

I respect him for loving his brother like that, they did choose two dif paths one Canada the other The United States of America one to make art the other to protect others with his own life.

he actually got into lots of fights with him about going off to war, his older brother would just tell him "You don't understand what I fight for, one day you will" even if that one day is long after he is dead.

Cullen would later comment tearfully his brother fought so the rest of us would not have to

American at his core to fight so the rest don't need to deal with the pain of war or nightmares, better tha brave few than the precious young many (such as peter) whom Soldier fight to protect so they don't need to fight wars.

I heard he had Optimus Prime Lives on a stone over his brothers grave.

But Optimus is how he found it didn't matter what Flag his brother fought for but it's that he fought for what he believed in. (Stubborn Canadian had to admit his American brother was always right) he thought about who his Hero was when he needed to come up with voice for Optimus, his brother was the one he shyly based him after.

USA is better, peter lives in Quebec XD

yeah he like moved in with his bro down in the states and he was like "This ain't Canada so no freeloading asshole"

In some parts of Canada it snows, other parts it does not!

Where I live all you gotta do every year to see snow is one hour drive at most to the mountains. snows in the hills, all depends on your elevation.
(I use to snowboard and I do iceskate)
Mt. Hood is beautiful during the winter I'll need to send you pictures when the snow starts falling.

dude during the Olympics alot of the teams were pissed off the snow melted in canada and it rained the whole time Shaun White actually suggested they fly down To Oregon's Mt. Hood to finish the rounds for medals on Real snow with no ice and rain or risk someone might get hurt. Canada freaked out. they also wanted to hodl the HOckey game in the Tocoma Dome because Canada chose a small place where only Canadian got in to watch the games and all other nations had to watch it outside on screens.

I failed Highschool the swamped me with homework soo bad, I means seriously I never even had time to eat without papers in front of me. Why I failed, finished school another way through a college route.

meh Canada to me is way to expensive, Canadians cross the borderjsut to shop and get gas in the USA thats how bad it is not kidding.

well here you need to have strait A's in Math Science and History etc. in order to stay in your art college, same goes for Canada

it's like 12$ a gal of gas in canada in some places 17$

Steve went to College 20 minutes away from where I live, there be his stomping grounds. XD

hes the the same age my mom would be if she survived Cancer (She was also a computer Tech person) so hearing he died really hit close to home for me, he was a very sweet, kind and gentle man.

You should see the Apple stores, all over the world people are putting up post in notes on the glass say "Love ya" or drawing angel wings, they bring tons of flowers and candles. He was loved, I know I have a hole there in my heart, he was the symbol of the USA the good symbol, it's sad hes gone it really feels like the era Imagination has closed with him.


my figures in the USA I got for 10$ but I haggled the price down to 5$

I have been a member for almost 7 years
the require more than jsut credit card numbers now for confirmation, want your bank # and thats a no no on the internet someone steals that you are screwed for life and I have had my paypal account hacked before
